The system works through WiFi so the only connection needed is power to the CCTV dome camera.

As you can see the camera can connect to your router via WiFi (if in range) or via CAT5 lead. As well as video the system also has 2 way audio so you can hear what's going on and even speak back out of the camera.

System requirements

CPU	2.0GHZ or above (suggested 3.0GHz)
Memory Size	256MB or above (suggested 1.0GHz)
Display Card	64M or above
Supported OS	Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7
Browser	IE6.0/7.0/8.0/Firefox/Safari/Google chrome or other standard browsers

This system comes with free DDNS, This is a server on the internet so at your home or work there is no need for a PC to be connected. All that is needed is a internet connection with router turned on and you can connect to the system from your PC or smart phone from any place in the world.

What Next ?

I am thinking of getting a 8 channel DVR and have all my security cameras going through this. Its a minefield out there when trying to find a decent priced DVR for home use. I have just got myself a used LJD COLOSSUS Series Embedded Net DVR pdf file HERE

And a pair of America Dynamics PTZ SpeedDome Ultra 8 color 1/4, 470L, zoom x22 cameras. pdf file HERE

I have a pair of external housings to go with them.
I just need to work out how to connect it all together now and get it working.

Still not had time to sort out the pair of America Dynamics PTZ domes and just picked up another speed dome! This one is a ACTi CAM-6610 with 18x optical, 12x digital zoom,25/30 fps at full D1 resolution IP-Camera. Data sheet HERE
