How to Find Siriusxm Radio ID in Subaru, Toyota, BMW & More

Step 1: Press the “SAT” switch on the radio unit.

Step 2: Tune the radio to channel 0. You can use the ring dial on your unit for this.

Step 3: The eight-digit SiriusXM radio ID should be displayed on the screen. If it doesn’t show up right away, see if there’s a TEXT key and press it.

The following steps are applicable to a Toyota Prius XM radio.

Step 1: Start your Prius.

Step 2: Press the mode key for your radio before adjusting it.

Step 3: Once the unit is on satellite radio, turn the power to your XM radio on.

Step 4: Tune in to channel 0 to get your XM radio ID.

An easy way to get your Sirius XM code is going to channel 0 for both of these brands. Alternatively, you may do the following steps through the web or on phone.

Step 1: Go to “chevrolet.com” and for Cadillac, go to “cadillac.com”

Step 2: You need to sign in first by clicking the account icon.

Step 3: Go to the “Plans & Services” section. Depending on whether you’re on app or your computer, it should be on the left or the top of the page.

Step 4: The last step is going to the SiriusXM tab. You will find XM radio ID there.

Step 1: Tune your radio to channel 0.

Step 2: Look for the General Setting or Navigation Menu option and select it.

Step 3: Navigate to the System Information section.

Step 4: Select the SiriusXM Subscription option. Your Radio ID number should be displayed on the screen.

You don’t have to worry if you’re asking, “where can I find my radio ID ESN or SID on my Hyundai Santa FE?” Just like the previous brands, you only need to tune in to channel 0.

Step 1: Switch your radio’s mode to Media/Sirius. You can do this by pressing the “MEDIA” key on your radio unit and then selecting “SiriusXM”.

Step 2: Select “options,” and your ID will show up on the screen.

 02 2003 and 2004 models

The ID should be accessible while your radio is in Sirius mode. For 2003 models, you only need to press the SAT button, while for cars made in 2004, there’s one additional step of dialing the knob on your radio to see the Options menu and subscription details.

Step 1: Tune your radio to channel 0.

Step 2: Long press the AUX & Preset 1 switch at the same time. SID will be displayed on the radio unit’s display screen.

Note that these steps are specific to a 2007 Ford F150 and may vary slightly depending on the model and year of your vehicle (you may try the steps below). On a 2012 Ford F150, use the Sirius button instead of the AUX one.

Step 1: Tune the SiriusXM radio to channel 0.

Step 2: Once the SXM Now Playing screen appears, look for the Avatar logo.

Step 3: Scroll until you see the “Help & Support” option. Then, you will find your ID.

Step 1: Have your radio tuned to channel 0.

Step 2: Select the “Apps” option.

Step 3: Scroll down until you see “Sirius Travel Link” and select it.

Step 4: Choose the “Subscription” option to access your SiriusXM account information.

Step 1: Tune the radio to channel 0.

Step 2: Long press the buttons in this order:

  • Sirius + Preset 1
  • Menu
  • System Info on screen
